Kaoru Kobayashi (小林 薫 Kobayashi Kaoru?, born November 30, 1968 in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka) is a former local newspaper delivery man, who kidnapped, sexually assaulted and murdered 7 year old Kaede Ariyama.
