'''Kate Major''' (born November 26, 1982 in Chicago) is the abusive stepmother of actress Lindsay Lohan.

Journalist Kate Major married Michael Lohan in 2014, only to separate from Michael in 2015 and officially file for divorce in late 2018. Dating back to March of 2014, she received an eight month prison sentence and a year of probation for driving drunk. A year later in April 2015, Kate was charged with battery when she used her long, acrylic nails to scratch her husband, and she was arrested again a year later for assaulting a police officer, after which she was given time served after a guilty plea.

An infamous example of Kate's heel persona came in August of 2017, when she was placed on psychiatric hold after accusing Michael of taking their two sons, Landon and Logan, even threatening to kill if police didn't find them. In addition, the she was caught on video unleashing racial slurs towards a Black officer and expressing her desire to be part of White supremacy, while also using a homophobic slur towards a female officer. Kate was arrested again in July 2018 for another domestic dispute, this time hurling a candle holder at Michael, which scratched his arm; however, the she avoided charges.

On Christmas 2018, Kate was arrested for attacking a bus driver while attempting to commandeer an occupied bus. She pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in April of 2019.
