Kim De Gelder (1988) is the perpetrator of the Dendermonde nursery attack on January 23, 2009 in Dendermonde, Belgium.
Attack[edit]
On January 23, 2009 in Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde, Dendermonde, Belgium Kim De Gelder entered the Fabeltjesland kindergarten through an open side door and began attacking the children with a knife before moving to another room killing 3 people and wounded 12 then escaped of the site on a bicycle until he was captured in the town of Lebbeke.
Sentence[edit]
On January 26, 2009, authorities named De Gelder as the prime suspect in another fourth murder, in which a 73-year-old woman was stabbed to death in her Beveren apartment.
on January 27 he admitted to the attacks and on March 22, 2013 he was sentenced to life in prison.
