Kitten Drowning is an act of animal cruelty and murder that has gained such widespread infamy over the years that is has become a legend in itself.
The practice of Kitten Drowning was common in the past and continues in some countries to this day, the usual method was to stuff one or more kittens into a bag and toss them into a well, river or ocean - killing them in the process.
The practice fell out of use when the practice of spaying and general acceptance of animals having feelings and rights sunk into society - though in some parts of the world it is very much still commonplace.
