Kori Ali Muhammad (born March 21, 1978) was the perpetrator of the April 2017 Fresno shooting spree that left 4 people dead. On April 13, he went to a Motel 6 and killed Carl Williams, a guard. Several days later, on April 18, when at downtown Fresno, he killed Zackary Randalls, Mark Gassett, and David Jackson. According to a confession he made to the police, he "found some white men to kill" and "didn't want to do nothing to law enforcement". Ironically, he also said that he perpetrated the shooting so he could "stop racism".
