Leslie was married to Bill Wallace and gave birth to three sons:  Gregory, Kenny, and James. She is a Marine Corps veteran who had a history of psychiatric problems and was on medication after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder following a suicide attempt. Leslie's backstory also revealed that she studied the Wicca religion, but despite its nonviolent teachings, she kept recipes for death spells against her enemies. 

In February 2001, the Wallaces moved in with Bill's mother, Kathleen, and according to Leslie, her mother-in-law constantly complained about the three boys. Leslie turned heel on September 2, 2001, when she suddenly killed six-year-old James by shooting him to death with a shotgun after failing to smother him with a pillow. She later drove to a church and targeted 16-year-old Kenny, firing a shot at her middle son, who survived due to the shot striking his bible. Afterwards, the evil Leslie targeted oldest son Gregory at a Pizza Hut he worked at, leading to Gregory locking himself inside to protect himself. Police arrived at the scene and arrested Leslie after firing six non-fatal gunshots at the villainess.

Prior to her arrest, Leslie made a chilling 911 call where she coldly admitted to killing her six-year-old son, adding that she tried to shoot Kenny and expressed regret that she missed him. She stated that her mother-in-law constantly complained about the kids and she planned to kill all three boys and then herself as part of a triple murder-suicide. It was reported that when the attacks on 9/11 happened a week later, Leslie felt "upstaged" by the event. Leslie faced the death penalty, but on December 8, 2003, she pleaded no contest and was sentenced to life in prison.
