A popular and historically recurring conspiracy theory positions Jewish people as creators and controllers of the Atlantic [[Slave trade|Slave Trade]]. As the theory has been adapted to overlap with many other antisemitic conspiracy theories and affirm a variety of world views, many distinct (and sometimes conflicting) claims are presented as dubious evidence of the theory.Narratives that promote the theory often rely on ''The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews'', a pseudo-scholarly book published by the antisemitic UFO religious group ''[[Nation of Islam]]''.
