===SIEGE (Book)=== “Siege!” originated as the periodic publication of National Socialist Liberation Front under the leadership of Joseph Tomassi. In 1982 it was run under the direction of Tomassi’s associate James Mason, who caused controversy in American neo-Nazi networks for his writings, including his insistence that white supremacists should look to mass murderer Charles Manson for inspiration. In the late 1980s, Siege became popular among prominent neofolk musicians. It was adapted to the book, “Siege: The Collective Works of James Mason”, by neofascist author and musician Michael Moyihan, who published it in 1993. In the mid to late 2010s, Siege saw a revival due to its prominence on Iron March forums, where it became the centrepiece of a movement and inspired its own “Siege Culture”. In 2017 Mason released a new edition of Siege in collaboration with Iron March and a member of the Atomwaffen Division. Today, Siege is widely circulated as a strategic handbook for white supremacist accelerationists and the subject of the popular memetic expression “Read Siege”. Text excerpts from Siege also appear in white supremacist accelerationist propaganda.
