This list is for symbols that are associated with hate. Each symbol is defined as either a Visual Symbol, Phrase, Meme, Term, Concept, Dogwhistle, Song, or Conspiracy Theory.
When adding entries, the list must stay in alphabetical order. And all entries are provided with an example image.

- Explicit Hate Symbols - Symbols, Terms, Phrases, Memes, etc. whose appearance are unambiguously linked to hate. They are almost, or entirely exclusively limited to the promotion of hate.
- Contextual Hate Symbols - Symbols, Terms, Phrases, Memes, etc. that have been co-opted by hate-promoting groups and ascribed with contextual meaning.
- Characters With Hateful Uses - Characters that aren't inherently hateful, but are sometimes used to spread hatred online, and often have origins in hateful spaces.
- Contemporary Hate Group Logos - Logos for hate groups that are known to be active or recently active.
- Historical Hate Group Logos - Logos for hate groups that are no longer active today, but their symbolism and likeness can appear in hate material.
