Prior to his imprisonment and conversion to Islam, Malcolm X led a life of crime. After he was released from prison, [http://real-life-villains.wikia.com/wiki/Elijah_Muhammed Elijah Muhammed took Malcolm under his wing and made him his closest associate. After several years, Malcolm X had a falling out with the Nation of Islam and made a pilgrimage to Mecca, where he witnessed people of all races and cultures coming together as equals to serve one God.
