Mark Aungst was an extremist who, along with friend and fellow accomplice Tammy Bronsburg, participated in the 2021 United States Capitol storming. They were shown to be leaving on a bus from D.C, where he bragged to other passengers that he successfully broke into the capitol during the riots.

He was arrested on February 4, 2021.
