Martin Bryant was the man responsible for the port arthur massacre, and at 35 people dead it is one of the worst mass shootings in history.

Martin showed signs of erratic behaviour at a young age, such as torturing animals and at his 14th birthday he got an air gun, which leads him to admire the power of firearms. He often fired his airgun at tourists. He commited the massacre because he wanted everyone to remember him.
