Mary Surratt (1823 - July 7th, 1865) was one of the co-conspirators in the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln. After John Wilkes Booth was shot and killed by Boston Corbett, she and eight other conspirators were involved in the plot that became the focus of the grieving nation's wrath. Along with Lewis Powell, David Herold and George Atzerodt, she was sentenced to death by hanging on July 7, 1865.
