'''Maxwell Frank Clifford''' (6 April 1943 – 10 December 2017) was an English publicist. During his long career, he represented a mixed range of clients. Clifford was arrested in December 2012 on suspicion of sexual offences, as part of Operation Yewtree. He was tried in March 2014 and found guilty of eight counts of indecent assault on four girls and women aged between 15 and 19. On 2 May 2014, he was sentenced to eight years in prison, and from 7 November 2014 served his sentence at HM Prison Littlehey. He died on 10 December 2017, three days after suffering a heart attack.
