Mayra Gavilanez-Alectus is the wife of Rebecca Gavilanez-Alectus, who was 16 years her junior. The report didn't reveal how long they were married, but on Mother's Day (May 10, 2020), Mayra posted a loving message about Rebecca on Facebook, gushing over the amount of happiness she brought to her life. However, Mayra turned heel a week later (May 17) by murdering Rebecca, doing so by bludgeoning her to death with a wine cooler.
