[[File:Melissa Haskell.jpg|thumb|375x375px]] '''Melissa Haskell''' is a villainess who murdered five-month-old Ryan Baurley as a teenage babysitter back in 1992. Ryan Baurley died suddenly on August 26, 1992, with his death attributed to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) after Melissa, then 19 years of age and Ryan's sitter, claimed that she found him unresponsive in his crib. It was determined just days later that Ryan was actually suffocated, with alcohol found in his system, and on April 2011, authorities received a tip that Melissa actually confessed to killing Ryan. Melissa had served as Ryan's sitter since he was a month old, but she was also had a drug addiction, which continued even after getting married and becoming a mother herself. On the night in question, Melissa was going through heroin withdrawal and became frustrated with Ryan's crying, after which she placed her hand over Ryan's mouth and suffocated him to death. It was reported that Melissa demanded a week's pay shortly afterwards. After confessing on tape (her ex-husband secretly recorded her), the evil Melissa ended up arrested on August 20, 2011, nearly 19 years after Ryan's murder. After turning down the lesser charge of manslaughter, Melissa was convicted of murder on June 13, 2012, and sentence to 10-20 years in prison on October 23.
