== Murder of Walter Scott == On April 4, 2015, police officer Michael Slager pulled over Walter Scott for having a damaged brake light. Unfortunately, Scott was wanted for failure to provide child support and fled, with Slager giving chase on foot. Slager chased Scott into a car park behind a shop and tasered him.
