Militant Atheism is the belief that all religion is either inherently evil, corrupt or outdated - it is also the opposite of religious extremism and can manifest in similar ways: such as oppression and terror towards those of religious faith. Though many militant atheists vehemently believe that their beliefs "liberate people from religious brainwashing", they ironically act the same as religious extremists as they humilitate and force religious people to convert to atheism.
