Mullah Fateh Vahid Krekar (born July 7, 1956) is an Iraqi-Kurdish militant and Islamic scholar. He was the founder of Ansar al-Islam, a Sunni Muslim insurgent grouo that had been labeled a terrorist organization. He has lived in Norway from 1991 until his arrest and deportation to Italy in 2020, where he was deported to after it was found that he led Rawti Shax, an offshoot of Ansar al-Islam.
