Dato' Sri Haji Najib Tun Razak (23 July 1953 - ) is a Malaysian politician who served as the 6th Prime Minister of Malaysia from 2009 to 2018 (succeeding Abdullah Ahmad Badawi). He was the former President of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), the leading party in Malaysia's Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition, which maintained control of Malaysia's government as a parliamentary majority for more than sixty years until the coalition's defeat in the 2018 general election in the hands of Mahathir Mohamad, who was also his mentor.

On 3 July 2018, Najib was arrested together with his wife, Rosmah Mansor by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), investigating how RM42 million (US$10.6 million) went from SRC International into Najib's bank account. Police seized 1,400 necklaces, 567 handbags, 423 watches, 2,200 rings, 1,600 brooches and 14 tiaras worth $273 million.

Najib is also the least popular Prime Minister of Malaysia.
