The New Black Panther society are a militant Black Supremacy society that take their name from the original Black Panther society of the Civil Rights era - however they do not share any of the former group's philosophy and are renounced by the Black Panthers as a dangerous hate-cult who have forgotten that the aim of the original Black Panthers was to improve the lives of African Americans, not simply to "hate the White man".

The New Black Panther Party has also got in trouble for intimidating voters, one of their members was found holding a weapon at White voters and stating "you going to be ruled by a Black Man" - many African-American organizations also do not accept the New Black Panther Party as a legit organization, comparing them to white supremacy groups like the [[Ku Klux Klan]].
