Nidal Malik Hassan (September 8th, 1970 - ) is a former United States Army military officer who was the perpetrator of the Fort Hood shooting in Fort Hood, Texas on November 9, 2009, which killed 13 people and injured 30 people. He was shot and taken into custody by Department of the Army Civillian Police officers.
