The Nine Trey Gangsters are a group of prison-gang of gangsters from Rikers Island in the East River between Queens and the Bronx in New York City. They are a violent subgroup, or sect of the United Blood Nation, which itself is a sect of the Bloods.

They are rivals with the dominant Latin Kings.

History

The Nine Trey Gangsters gang was formed sometime in 1993 by Omar Portee, also known as "O.G. Mack" or "Godfather Mack", and Leopard McKenzie.

Membership

The Nine Trey Gangsters members are mostly African-American males, but some of them are also Asian, Hispanic (mostly of Mestizo descent), and European American.
