The Nine Trey Gangsters are a group of prison-gang of gangsters from Rikers Island in the East River between Queens and the Bronx in New York City. They are a violent subgroup, or sect of the United Blood Nation, which itself is a sect of the Bloods.
They are rivals with the dominant Latin Kings.
History[edit]
The Nine Trey Gangsters gang was formed sometime in 1993 by Omar Portee, also known as "O.G. Mack" or "Godfather Mack", and Leopard McKenzie.
Membership[edit]
The Nine Trey Gangsters members are mostly African-American males, but some of them are also Asian, Hispanic (mostly of Mestizo descent), and European American.

- Daniel "Tekashi 6ix9ine" Hernandez - rapper, singer-songwriter and media personality.
- Omar "O.G. Mack" Portee - the co-founder of the Nine Trey Gangsters, as well as the United Blood Nation gang.
