'''Ovidio Guzmán López '''is a Mexican drug kingpin and a high-ranking member of the [[Sinaloa Cartel]]. One of [[Joaquín Guzmán]]'s sons, he took over his father's business after his arrest (although this is contested with [[Ismael Zambada García]], who considers him and his brothers foolish and impetuous) He and his brothers Iván, Joaquin and Jesús are collectively known as "Los Chapitos" from their father "El Chapo"(The Shorty) and he is known as "El Ratón"(The Mouse).

In October 2019, Mexican National Guard personnel arrested him in Culiacán. He was released following an ambush by cartel gunmen and several attacks against civilians.

On January 5, 2023, Mexican Army personnel captured Guzman in Culiacán. Similarly to the previous arrest, cartel gunmen attempted to rescue him by making blockades and attacking National Guard and military personnel, however on this occasion he was taken out of the city and detained in the Altiplano maximum-security prison in Mexico State.
