The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) is an Islamist political party in Malaysia founded on 24 November 1951 by Ahmad Fuad Hassan, a former UMNO member. Currently, they are part of the Government of Malaysia and also believed to be allies and have ties with the Taliban.

Background
The party's goal is to establish Malaysia as an Islamic State and implement strict Sharia law such as Hudud to all citizens there.
Notable Actions
They party's hobbies include banning foreign and local concert performances, partying, gambling, drinking alcohol in public alongside festivals and many others. They also have gender segregation in public and ask women not to dress indecently and cover up with headscarves or else they will be punished.
