When he was four years old, his brothers accused him of killing a dog that was the family pet and abused him. pedro was easily angered and teased at home and at school where he had no friends. his sisters would dress him up as a woman and take him out on the street to make fun of him, which generated a deep hatred for transvestites and he also mistreated animals. suffered from a messiah complex, a psychological condition in which the individual believes he is or is destined to be a spiritual savior, and that he hears the voice of god. ===Military Service=== When he was 17 years old, Pedro voluntarily joined the Peruvian army, but rumor had it that he heard the voice of God and that he kept saying things like that sinners deserved death. He was treated by psychologists who detected pedro's psychopathic tendency and threw him out of the army because he was a social danger to train him in the handling of weapons. ==Murders== The first murder occurred when Pedro was stealing watermelons from a farmer who saw him and Ludeña killed him. He kept a low profile for 13 years working as a mechanic until 2003 when he paid a Japanese man 800 soles/210 dollars to adopt him as his son to facilitate his visa to go to Japan, but he never did. At that point he felt it was time for his mission so he armed himself with a 9mm pistol with a silencer made of sandal rubber and began his series of murders against his enemies. They were homosexuals, prostitutes, thieves, drug addicts, alcoholics and smokers. On January 1, 2005, Carlos Merino, 26, was walking along a beach in Chancay when he was suddenly shot in the abdomen and died, Pedro stole his belongings and escaped. In May of the same year, Nakada, who was walking the streets at night, met Teresa Cotrina, 50, using drugs and shot and killed her. Two months later he killed the cab driver and two passengers and robbed the cab and a few weeks later killed two other people. Pedro would continue his killing spree until December 27, 2006, when he killed Nicolas Tolentino and escaped but was identified by several civilians so the police went to the garage where Nakada works when the policemen were inspecting the garage Pedro pushed one of them, pulled out his gun, shot them and fled trying to escape but was caught when he ran out of ammunition. ==Sentence== On July 14, 2010 Pedro was sentenced to 35 years in prison, although he is now in a hospital because he suffers from schizophrenia. ==Victims== Although Pedro killed 17 people, he claims to have killed 25. *Carlos Edilberto Merino Aguilar *Teresa Cotrina Abad. *Walter Sandoval Osorio. *Carlos Walter Tarazona Toledo. *Gerardo Leonardo Cruz Libia. *María Verónica Tolentino Pajuelo. *Luis Enrique Morán Cervantes. *Pedro Omar Carrera. *Enoch Eliseo Félix Zorrilla. *Hugo Vílchez Palomino. *Widmar Jesús Muñoz Villanueva. *Nell Cajaleón Pajuelo. *Nazario Julián Tamariz Pérez. *Didier Jesús Zapata Dulanto. *Agustín Andrés Maguiña Oropeza. *Luis Melgarejo Sáenz. *Nicolás Tolentino Purizaca Gamboa.
