== Psychology == === Mental health === Pekka-Eric Auvinen suffered from depression, panic disorder and anxiety and tried to be cured from them by taking SSRIS, but he would take them irregularly. This deteriorated his already troubled mental health, worsening his problems. === Personality === As a child, he was descrived as a sunny and happy boy who was kind and calm. At school, teachers looked at him as a well-behaved and talkative to those who spoke with him face-to-face. But he was also described as a shy person who could be easily intimidated and could get scared even for the most normal like asking for a summer job. However, he had already at a young age a complex of superiority, believing himself to be a god compared to other people and believing that he was in the next stage of human evolution. He was so egotistical due to the unshackability in his opinions and hated when people proved that he was wrong or that there was something that would rectify his views. This unshackability is derived from his being overreactive to thing, according to student Juho Jarviven. This driven him to isolate himself from others, so much that he never had actual friends at school. In his isolation, he grew violent desires, seeing them as way to assert dominance. === Ideology === While for his philosophical views, he held various ideologies, including cynicism, Social Darwinism, nihilism, militant atheism and antihumanism, describing humanity as overrated and a species among other animals. Politically speaking, he had an obsession with revolutionary history and held extremist views aligned with both the far left and the far-right. He had admiration for Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Seung Hui Cho, Timothy McVeigh, Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Ted Kaczynski.
