'''Peter Ellis''' is a childcare worker from New Zealand who was convicted of sexually abusing several children. He was found guilty of sixteen counts of sexual offences involving children and was consequently sentenced to ten years in prison.

Ellis died in 2019 from cancer while appealing his conviction at the age of 61.
