A phisher is someone who participates in phishing, which is defined as the act of stealing sensitive information by having the culprit represent him or herself as a benevolent entity in an electronic communication. It's commonly enacted on through email spoofing or instant messaging. These crackers would then proceed to lure their victims to fake websites. They would normally attack social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter, so that they could steal crucial information regarding their victims.
