Pope Urban VI was the head of the Catholic Church from 1378 until his death in 1389.
He was known to be a paranoid sadistic murderer, He was prone to violent outbursts, and had six cardinals arrested, tortured and ultimately executed believing that there was a conspiracy to overthrow and usurp him.
