Revilo P. Oliver (July 7th, 1908 – August 20th, 1994); was a leader of the John Birch Society and the white nationalist group National Alliance. He was also a professor at the University of Illinois. The John Birch Society was an extreme anti-communist group based off of McCartyist beliefs and; though not based on white supremacy; many lead members had ties to white supremacist groups. These members included Larry McDonald; Tom Metzger; and Thomas Robb. Revilo P Oliver advocated aggressive white nationalism anti-communist views. He also had very anti-religious views (quite contrary many early American white supremacists such as Simmons and Forrest). His anti-religious views also likely to have inspired Tom Metzger; who is an atheist. He is also the main inspiration for white supremacist leader Kevin Storm. His name happens to be a palindrome as well. He was also a holocaust denier. In 1994; he commited suicide in Urbana; Illinois at age 86
