Richard Ramirez also known as "The Night Stalker"

Richard Ramirez is an american serial killer awaiting execution also known as "The Night Stalker". Six years after he became a petty thief Ramirez began to kill people. He killed Mei Lung in a basement where he was living at them time on April 10 1984. Then he stabbed 79 year old Jennie Vincow by stabbing her repeatedly and slashing her throat so badly he nearly decapitated her the same year on June 28 1984. On February 21 1985 sisters Mary and Christina Caldwell were found dead at their home after Ramirex stabbed them numroeus times. On March 17 1985 he shot Vincent and Maxine Zazzara.Mrs. Zazzara's body was mutilated with several stab wounds and a T carving onher left breast and her eyes were gouged out.On May 29 1985 he attacked Malvial Keller and her disabled sister Blache Wolfe beating them with a hammer. He attempted to rape Keller but failed. The using lipstick he drew pentagrams on her thigh and on the wall in the bedroom. On June 2 1985 Edward Ridgans was shot and killed by Ramirez and from June to July three more women were killed. Two had their throats slit and one was beaten to death but all three had their homes invaded however on July 5 Whitney Bennet survived being struck by a tire iron by Ramirez. Two days later Linda Fortuna was attacked by Ramirez. On July 20 he shot and killed 32 year old Chitat Assawahem and his wife Sakima were beaten. He then collected valuables and prepared to leave. Later the same day a couple Maxson Kneiding and his wife Lela were shot anjd their corpeses mutilated.On August 6 Ramirez shot Christopher and Virginia Petersen in the head but miraculously they survived. Two days later he attacked a Diamond Bar couple fatally shooting Ahmed Zia. He then left Los Angeles and on August 17 he shot a 66 year old man in San Francisco and shot and beat his wife. But hse survived her wounds and until then Ramirez was nicknamed "The Walk-in Killer" however this did not fit the modu operandi and he was dubbed the "Nigh Stalker"
