Richard Strauss
Richard Strauss was an athletic physician for the Ohio State University who was responsible for the sexual abuse of several athletes. Strauss was known for conducting abnormally prolonged genital examinations on male athletes. Athletics staff were never permitted to be present during these examinations due to athlete privacy, allowing Strauss to rape and sexually abuse athletes so long as he's "examining" them.

It was reported that Strauss committed a total of 47 counts of rape from athletic genital examination. At least 177 athletes have reported some form of genital abuse from Strauss during medical examinations. Strauss was later terminated from his job altogether from Ohio State in the summer of 1996. He later died from suicide in August 2005.
