Ronald Carroll McDonald (February 25, 1926 - August 7, 2011) was a convicted American rapist who had played Santa Claus for over 25 years until he had confessed to his crimes. On January 9, 1998, he was given the maximum sentence for his crimes and was sentenced to 26.5 years in prison but was never convicted. He had also admitted to molesting over 45 children since 1937. McDonald had later died on August 7, 2011.
