Rudy Eugene also known as the "Miami Zombie" was the man who almost killed a homeless man named Ronald Edward Poppo.

History

was born at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. He was of Haitian descent through his immigrant parents who divorced months after his birth. Eugene never made contact with his father, who died when he was six. As a child he attended the Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church with his families on most Sundays. Eugene attended North Miami Beach High School in the 10th and 11th grades, and he played on its football team in the late 1990s. At the age of 17, he transferred to North Miami High School. After graduating, Eugene acquired money from such sources as selling CDs and jobs at McDonald’s and in telemarketing. His last recorded employment was washing cars at a local automobile dealership. Eugene had expressed interest in establishing his own mobile car wash business

The attack occured on May 26^th, 2012, Rudy tried to kill a Ronald on the MacArthur Causeway, Rudy was naked during the attack. Rudy removed Ronald's pants (for unknown reasons) and bit off Ronald's face, leaving Ronald faceless. Rudy was killed by a police officer.

Miami Zombie Attack

May 26, 2012, was the day of the Miami Zombie Attack. Ronald Poppo was sitting on the MacArthur Causeway, when suddenly, a naked,31-year-old, African-American, male, attacked the 65-year-old Poppo, out of nowhere. Many cars drove by while Poppo was being savagely torn apart. When police shown up, they found the attacker, Eugene, and Poppo naked. Poppo had both his eyes removed. After many times of police telling Eugene to stop, they shot him in the back, killing him.

Trivia

• The reason for the attack remains unknown since no Bath Salts were found in his body.
• Rudy accused Ronald of stealing his Bible.
• Ronald Poppo survived the attack and is currently 70-years-old.
