Sahel was born in Iran on May 29<sup>th</sup>, 1989, and she lost her mother when she was only 9 years old. She emigrated to the US at age 13, and worked as a waitress at Dave and Buster's. It was in December 2008 that Sahel met the married Steve McNair and began their illicit relationship.
