Sajid Butt is a Pakistani-British man and one of two family members convicted of sexually abusing and raping his cousin's son Amer Hussain.

When Amer was 12, a family friend died and the entire Hussain family had to go to the funeral in Bristol. Due to Pakistani traditions, they all stayed in the same house, and Amer stayed in a room with his mother's cousin Sajid for two nights. On the first night, Sajid attacked Amer and violently anally raped him. The second night, Amer refused to sleep in the same room as him, but was forced to. Sajid attacked and raped him again, smothering him with a pillow to silence him. This incident, and other instances of sexual abuse, traumatised Amer to the point where he attempted suicide. However, he eventually spoke about his abuse and both Sajid and Amer's uncle Ajaz Butt, who had raped him when he was six, were arrested. Sajid pleaded guilty to indecent assault and buggery on 12 March 2019 and was sentenced to six years in a secure observation unit.
