Crimes: Stalking
Kidnapping
Attempted murder
Child endangerment
Type of Villain: Violent Stalker

Thomas and Arceneaux were in a relationship for some time, and Thomas was the father of Arceneaux's child. However, Arceneaux filed a police report against Thomas on June 15, 2013, claiming that Thomas had locked her in the house with their two-year-old son and threatened to kill her. A protection order was filed against Thomas on June 17 banning him from going anywhere near Bethany Arceneaux.

After the order was issued, Thomas continued to stalk his ex-girlfriend, eventually being arrested on August 8 for violating the protection order. It was also claimed that he attacked police officers and then ran away, and was charged with aggravated assault of an officer. Thomas was released on bail.

On the afternoon of November 6, 2013, Scott Thomas confronted Arceneaux in front of the daycare centre where she was picking up their son and forced her into his car. The young child was left in the car park, while Thomas took Arceneaux and held her captive in a vacant house.

Two days later, Arceneaux's family, who were searching for her, heard screams from the house where Thomas was holding Arceneaux. The victim's brothers kicked down the door and, along with other family members, burst in to see Thomas repeatedly stabbing Arceneaux. An unidentified member of the family then shot Thomas. Both Thomas and Arceneaux were taken to the hospital, where Thomas was declared dead. Arceneaux recovered, and police did not charge her family with murder.
