Sharon Carr is identified as Britain's youngest female murderer, as she committed the murder of Katie Rackliff when she [Carr] was twelve years old. Carr evaded arrest for years before eventually being taken in by police in January of 1994, after stabbing another intended victim at Collingwood College. Carr admitted to killing Rackliff while in prison for the attempted murder, and received a sentence of life in prison on March 25, 1997.
