Sharon and Gerald had been married since 1974, but on the evening of July 14, 2019, she engaged in a strange phone call with a family member, which ended with Sharon saying the words, "Call the police." Sharon turned heel afterwards by shooting her husband to death, which was followed by the villainess committing suicide, with the couple being found in their bedroom. A motive has yet to be revealed, though the family member mentioned the phone call following the discovery of the couple, with the indication that it served as a hint to Sharon's villainous demeanor.
