==The Murder== On Sunday, January 6, 1957 in Reykjavík, Iceland Sigurbjörn went to see a man who had a rifle in Hveragerði and asked if he could borrow the rifle with the excuse of because a calf had broken its leg and therefore had to be shot and the man agreed and handed him the three-shot rifle. He way back to the Reykjavík Horticultural School, he had lunch and played a game of chess with a person. Around noon Sigurbjörn got up, took the rifle and went to the cafeteria kitchen, where there were four women, including Konkordia. Sigurbjörn asked the housekeeper who was there if anything was missing from the barn, then turned to Konkordía and said "Well, my Day," pointed the rifle at her and fired. The shot went through Konkordia's stomach, who fell to the ground and died a few minutes later, bleeding to death. Sigurbjörn calmly left the scene and went to his room in the staff building.
