The '''Sinking of the RMS ''Carpathia''''' was an event that happened on July 17<sup>th</sup>, 1918, four months before the end of [[World War I]]. Carpathia was torpedoed by SM U-55, on the orders of [[Wilhelm Werner]]. Five people were killed, three of which were firemen, and the other two being trimmers.
