Solomon Peña is a GOP House candidate who ran for office in New Mexico. In January 2023, he was responsible for hiring hitmen to shoot up and murder Democratic opponents.

Peña attempted to run for office in November 2022, but was unsuccessful. It was then when signs of his sanity became evident, as political opponents noticed that he had complaints that the election was stolen from him. He had a history of believing in Stop the Steal movement conspiracies, and was a firm supporter of former U.S. President Donald Trump.

He would later bribe four hitmen money to shoot and murder political opponents, specifically County Commissioners Adriann Barboa and Debbie O'Malley. Fortunately, none of his victims were successfully killed. Authorities were able to track Peña as the mastermind behind the murder-for-hire attempts, and arrested him.
