'''Subhas Chandra Bose''' (January 23, 1897- August 18, 1945) was an Indian Nationalist and the leader of the Indian National Congress from 1938 to 1939 and the Leader of the Indian National Army from 1943 to his death in 1945 during World War II. His campaign to rid India of the British was partnered with Mahatma Gandhi and supported by [[Nazi Germany]] and [[Imperial Japan]] during [[World War II]]. 

Subhas Chandra Bose was born in the Bengal Province of India on January 23, 1897. He was the leader of the Indian National Congress during the Interwar Years from 1938 to 1939, a Nationalist Fascist Political Party in India. In 1941, with the help of [[Adolf Hitler]] and [[Heinrich Himmler]], he founded the Free India Center in Berlin, an organization to rid India of the British. He then founded the Indian Legion of Nazi Germany's Wehrmacht. In 1943, he was the leader of the Indian National Army and the leader of the Free India puppet state of the Imperial Japanese Government. He was close friends with Mahatma Gandhi during World War II and they were partners in their campaign to rid India of British presence which was supported by Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. On August 18, 1945, he died after his plane crashed in Taiwan due to him getting Third Degree Burns from the crash.
