does Hitler really count as Lawful Evil at the time leading up to his death? he was increasingly mentally unstable and giving orders that were shocking even to his former allies - sure he was a tyrant and still *believed* he was following the "law" but really he made said "laws" up when they suited him and wasn't against using terror, death and chaos if it made him more powerful or feared.. I'd argue he was more Neutral Evil (part of how he got into power in the first place) - by the end of his days he was sliding even closer to Chaotic Evil with his orders to kill Germany for its "betrayal" etc
