Now before, anyone gets me: No, I'm not denying that there are plenty of awful, perverted sickos who would perform sexual acts on teenagers - unconsensually - or have them groomed illegally. But I need to clarify that ephebophilia is NOT even considered a "psychological disorder". The same thing goes for hebephilia. https://www.psychiatrictimes.com/view/hebephilia-crime-not-mental-disorder Unlike hebephilia, ephebophilia isn't illegal in most places. 18 is a very common age for both consent and as well as a majority since they are essentially fully capable of relating to sex (minus majority, so is 16), yet finding an 18-year-old "attractive". By logic: Would you label anyone (particularly older) as "evil" just because you find them "attractive" and are in a relationship with each other - consensually? No. Unless you are taking advantage of them and abusing them to do that they very likely are not interested, then yes, you very likely deserve to go to prison for that. As it is a chronophilia, it is still not classified as a "psychological diagnosis" like pedophilia, since there is no research to suggest it is. Having this be a candidate for deletion leaves for debate, but really, it's more of a "grey zone" just like anything sex-related, to my knowledge.
