The Texas seven

In 2001 seven inmates from Texas broke out of the state person. While they were on their crime spree they brutally murdered a police officer who a responding to a robbery they committed. All were recaptured except for one who committed suicide. All were sentenced to die and three of them have since been executed including the ringleader.
