The Unite the Right rally was an infamous rally initiated by Jason Kessler to advocate for white supremacism, and had many hateful far-right and Alt-Right attendees, most prominently neo-Nazis, neo-Confederates, skinheads, white separatists, and KKK members. The event was met with numerous counter protesters, ranging from peaceful activists to violent Antifa members. Numerous were injured in the event from clashes. The event most notoriously had 3 deaths, two being in a helicopter crash and one being Antifa member Heather Heyer, who was murdered in cold blood by a vehicle attack.

- James Alex Fields Jr. is now serving a life sentence in prison.
- David Duke was idolized by various fanatics attending the rally.
