Since 1938 was a borad member and secretary of this party. She was arrested and deported to Krasnoyarsk region on 15-06-1941.On July 2,1942 the investigation of the case was terminated and V.Valsiuniene was released. Presumably recruited then. Started teaching in schools, orphanages. 1945 returned to Lithuania, stayed in Vilnius. He helped the Chekists to destroy the national underground, betrayed the Lithuanian National Council, an organization founded by J. Noreika - General Vėtra. 41 persons linked to the organization have been arrested. 1945 - 1947 V. Valsiūnienė was the head of the Writers' Union Club. 1948 - 1954 Writers' Union Poetry Consultant, Chair of Children's Literature Section. Died in 1955 In Vilnius.
